Note-ability, a small choral group which formed in 1994, specialise in unaccompanied vocal music; from madrigals and motets to popular songs and folksongs there is something for everyone in the choir’s diverse and entertaining repetoire. Drawing its initial core of members from ex Nottingham University students, the choir’s membership has now expanded with many walks of life represented in its numbers. Indeed, with composers in the ranks, audiences are occasionally lucky enough to hear world-premiere performances! The choir is fortunate to be directed by Caroline Palmer, a distinguished soprano soloist in her own right, who has also written several of the choir’s vocal arrangements.

Note-ability are based in Nottingham and regularly perform throughout the East Midlands and further afield and are also available for weddings and other functions. Vacancies arise from time to time and new singers are always welcome. Please contact us with any enquiries.

In April 1998 there was an article about us in Nottingham Evening Post.
