Note-ability were one of a number of West Bridgford-based groups to be invited to perform in 1997‘s Rushcliffe Festival Finale Concert. The concert took place at Nottingham Playhouse which was nearly full, an audience of around 750 people. We performed one slot in the first half of the concert, and one in the second half, and then joined everyone else for the Gershwin Finale number - our pieces are below:

Tea for Two - arr. Gitton
Swing Low - arr. Page
Shenandoah - arr. Erb
The Goslings - Bridge

Blue Moon - arr. Blackwell
I Will - arr. Palmer
Let’s do it - arr. Blackwell

Summertime - Gershwin

Note-ability

Soprano: Sam Cocking, Greer Coles, Anita French, Lucy Copeland
Alto: Kerry Hind, Sandy Juffs, Susie Lamb, Jean Nixon
Tenor: Phil Brady, Robert Wilsmore
Bass: Malcolm Cocking, David Essex, Mark Ramsey

Musical Director: Caroline Palmer

Singing in this concert was a fantastic experience.  All the choir came off after our first contribution on a real high. Caroline said it was probably the best we had ever sung.
